A Standard House Clean Includes
- Dusting reachable surfaces, shelves, sills, ledges and the outside of the fireplace and mantel
- Vacuuming carpets, rugs and stairs; sweeping and washing hard floors
- Kitchen: countertops, backsplash, cabinet fronts, sink, stovetop and appliance exteriors, microwave inside and out
- Bathrooms: tubs, showers, glass doors, tile walls, toilets and vanities cleaned and disinfected; mirrors cleaned
- Light switches and door handles wiped
- Garbage emptied and fresh liners fitted
- Beds made and a general straighten of living areas
- Baseboards checked, with anything that needs a deeper clean pointed out to you
Not part of a standard visit: laundry, hand-washing dishes or unloading a full dishwasher, inside the oven or fridge, inside cabinets, and anything that needs a ladder beyond a small step stool. Several of those are available in a deep clean or as a quoted add-on. If something in the agreed scope is missed, tell us within 24 hours by phone, text or email. We will look at the concern and arrange a reasonable re-clean of the missed, agreed-scope areas at no additional charge.

Homes around Guelph and Waterloo Region have their own patterns. Winter brings road salt and slush through the front door, so entry floors and mats get extra attention from November to April. How often should I book house cleaning?
It depends on the household. Homes with pets, young children or a home office in daily use often suit weekly visits. Every two weeks is a common middle ground. Monthly works for lighter-use homes, though each visit then carries more build-up. We will suggest a frequency when we quote.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. You are welcome to be home or away. If you will be out, tell us how we get in (a door code, lockbox or key arrangement) and anything we should know about pets, alarms or rooms to skip.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. We bring our own cleaning products and equipment. If you prefer particular products, such as fragrance-free products or a specific wood or stone cleaner, leave them out and let us know.
Is there a contract?
Not for residential service. You can pause, change the frequency or stop recurring cleaning by letting us know before the next scheduled visit. Any charges for late changes are set out in your quote.
