These terms apply to cleaning services provided by Rejuv Cleaning, operated by Garnet Wealth and Property Management, in Ontario. Your written quote sets the scope, price, deposit (if any), and scheduling and cancellation details for your job. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies to that job.

1. Quotes

  • Quotes are based on the information you give us about the property and the work. Please describe the home or space accurately; photos help where the condition is hard to describe.
  • If the property’s condition or the work requested differs materially from what was described, we will explain the difference and give you a revised written quote before doing any additional paid work. You can accept it, adjust the scope, or cancel that part of the work.
  • Applicable taxes, such as HST, are shown on your quote and invoice where they apply.

2. Booking and scheduling

  • A booking is confirmed once we confirm the date in writing (for example by email or text).
  • We will let you know as soon as possible if weather, illness or other circumstances beyond our control affect your appointment, and offer the next available time.
  • For recurring service, the same cleaner or team returns for your visits. If that ever has to change, we will tell you in advance.

3. Changes, cancellations and recurring service

  • Please tell us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Any late-change, cancellation or lockout charge applies only if it is stated in your written quote. We will not add a charge that was not disclosed in advance.
  • Residential recurring service has no minimum term. You can pause, change or stop it by letting us know before the next scheduled visit.
  • Commercial service terms, including any notice period, are set out in the quote or agreement for that account.

4. Access, keys and security

  • If you will not be home, please provide safe access: a door code, lockbox, or key arrangement. We keep access information confidential and use it only for your service.
  • Keys are labelled without your address and returned or destroyed when service ends, as you prefer. We recommend changing door codes when service ends.
  • Please tell us about alarms, cameras, and any rooms or items we should avoid.

5. Preparing for your clean

  • Clearing counters and floors of personal items helps us clean more in the time booked.
  • Please secure pets as needed and tell us about them in advance.
  • For move-in and move-out cleans, the property should be empty, with electricity and water on.

6. What is not included

Unless your quote says otherwise, ordinary cleaning does not include: laundry; hand-washing dishes; pet waste; biohazards, bodily fluids or sharps; mould remediation; pest infestations; hazardous materials; heavy lifting or moving furniture and appliances; work at height beyond a small step stool; exterior windows; or repairing, recolouring or sealing surfaces such as grout. We may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe, and we will explain why.

7. Payment

  • Payment terms, including any deposit and when payment is due, are set out in your quote and invoice.
  • Commercial accounts are invoiced on the terms stated in their quote or agreement.

8. If something was missed

If something in the agreed scope was missed, tell us within 24 hours of the visit by phone, text or email. Photos help but are not required. We will review the concern and arrange a reasonable re-clean of the missed, agreed-scope areas at no additional charge. The re-clean applies to work that was part of the agreed scope.

9. Damage and incidents

  • Please report any damage or incident to us promptly, ideally within 48 hours, with photos if possible, so we can look into it while the details are fresh.
  • We will investigate honestly and respond in writing. Rejuv Cleaning carries liability insurance, and valid claims are handled in line with that policy’s terms.
  • Please tell us in advance about anything fragile, valuable or irreplaceable. We may ask that such items be moved or excluded from the scope.
  • Some conditions existing before a clean, such as worn finishes, loose fixtures, or permanent stains, may become more visible after cleaning; cleaning does not cause them.

10. Carpet and upholstery

  • Drying time depends on the material, humidity and airflow. Please keep traffic and furniture off damp carpet until it is dry.
  • Some stains are permanent. We will tell you before we start which spots may not come out fully.
  • Where pet urine has reached the carpet pad, odour may return. We do not guarantee odour removal in that situation.
  • Fabrics that cannot be safely wet-cleaned will not be cleaned by that method.

11. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law or other law that cannot be limited by agreement.

12. Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. We may update them; the terms in effect when your quote was issued apply to that job.
