Every home is different, so we quote the job in writing instead of publishing a price list.
Why We Don’t Publish Prices
Two homes of the same size can be very different jobs. A three-bedroom home cleaned every two weeks is a lighter job than the same home after a year without a professional clean, and a home with three bathrooms and a finished basement takes longer than one with a single bathroom. A price list would be wrong for most people reading it.
Instead, you tell us about the space, and we send a written quote with the scope and price. Most homes can be quoted from a few questions, without a visit. If the home turns out to be materially different from the description, we explain the difference and give you a revised written quote before any additional paid work.
What Affects a Quote

- Size and layout
- Square footage matters, but layout matters too: stairs, open-concept spaces and the number of rooms.
- Bathrooms
- Bathrooms take more time than bedrooms, so the bathroom count moves a quote more than the bedroom count.
- Finished basement
- Whether the lower level is included.
- Condition and time since the last professional clean
- A home cleaned regularly is a lighter job than one that has gone months or years.
- Pets
- Hair, dander and nose prints on the glass add time.
- Hard water
- Heavy scale on glass and fixtures takes extra work, and it is common in Guelph and Waterloo Region.
- Floor types
- Hardwood, tile, carpet and stone each need different care.
- Frequency
- Weekly or biweekly visits carry less build-up per visit than monthly or one-time cleans.
- Service type and add-ons
- Deep, move-out, carpet and specialty items such as inside the fridge or cabinets change the scope.
- Access and location
- Parking, building access, and whether the property is within our general radius or a named exception.
How to Compare Cleaning Quotes Fairly
Compare scope, not just totals. Ask each company for a written list of what is included, room by room.
Check whether the first clean is separate. A low recurring price may not include the first, heavier visit.
Ask what happens if the job runs long. With an hourly rate you pay for the extra time; with a quoted scope the price holds unless the scope changes.
Ask who will be in your home, and what insurance and screening apply.

Quote Questions
Do you charge by the hour?
We quote a price for an agreed scope. You know the price before the work starts, and it only changes if the scope does, with a revised written quote first.
Is the first visit priced differently?
Often, yes. A first visit may need more work than later ones, depending on the home, so we quote the first clean and recurring visits separately.
Are taxes included?
Applicable taxes, such as HST, are shown on your quote and invoice where they apply.
